CV - Marcus R. Niedermeier (short summary)
Marcus R. Niedermeier joined his parents’ timber wholesale firm "ENL Eduard Niedermeier Landshut" during his studies of timber industry at the UAS Rosenheim at an age of 24 years in 1994.
In 1996 already he founded "IHB Internationale Holzboerse GmbH" (International Timber Exchange). As managing associate he established and developed IHB the most successful internet platform concerning timber and forests in Europe.
In 2000/2001 he was awarded different prizes for being one of the 100 leading German experts in the e-business sector, among which there were some from Wirtschaftswoche and Financial Times Germany. (e.g. "101 Heads of New Economy – Who is going to lead German economy in the future").
In 2000 participation of AdAstra, a venture branch of HypoVereinsbank, and tbg, the Association of Technological Shares of Deutsche Ausgleichsbank at IHB, in order to guarantee the financing of the rapid national and global expansion.
After positioning a new managing director for IHB GmbH, he quit the management in the turn of the year 2002, in order to found the consulting firm "HCN HolzConsulting Niedermeier (TimberConsulting)".
